four stage curriculum, Our Time
complements your child's own inner timetable for learning. Toddlers 1½ to
3 years have a need for predictable, secure surroundings yet they have a
desire to move and be active. They want to spontaneously sing and dance
and they love grasping things and exploring with the hands.
Our Time
lessons and materials work in tandem with your child's own inner urges.
The Kindermusik experience
satisfies the needs in every young child, offering the right lessons at
the right times.
There are singing, movement, patterning and listening
activities as well as playing simple instruments.
- Our Time
is developmentally appropriate not only for the physical needs
but for the emotional responses vital to help your child grow into a
healthy, whole personality.
- Our Time
provides both music and movement. The carefully selected
musical activities become a perfect setting for learning.
- Your child learns that making music
can be as natural as breathing.
- The teacher provides materials for use
in class and at home. Each instrument and learning aid is chosen to
fascinate and inspire.
- Includes take home materials
with 2 CDs, 2 literature books, home activity book and
instrument.
- Classes are 45 minutes weekly for 15
week semesters.
- Parents or caregivers attend with the
child for the entire class.

For Semester 1 (September 2011) in Our
Time we will be using the
Wiggles and Giggles
materials.
