Kindermusik® Villageis a special program designed for babies from newborn to 18 months old. It features multi-themed units where parents or caregivers accompany the children and participate in the weekly 45 minute classes. Children are exposed to singing, chanting, vocal play, object play, intentional touch, literature and movement to music. Parents learn how to  beneficially interact with their babies. One of the very few structured  music education programs for this age group, Kindermusik Village offers parents and babies an introduction to the wonderful world of music.
  • This class is for newborns to 18 months: lap babies, crawlers and walkers accompanied by a parent or caregiver.
  • Incorporates multi-age activities: Village introduces multiple levels of activities appropriate for the different stages of development in this age range.
  • Environments with diverse developmental stages in the first 1½ years create an optimal learning setting for both children and parents.
  • Educates parents: You too will have a wonderful time in class and be very surprised how much you can learn whilst having so much fun! You will also learn how the activities aid in your baby's development.
  • Includes take home materials. There are books to aid your baby in visual tracking, shape and colour recognition and language development. There are CDs to play at home or in the car.
  • Classes are 45 minutes weekly for 15 week semesters.

For Semester 1 (September 2011) in Village we will be using the feathers and Do-Si-Do materials.
